About the event

Step into a space where stories are born from breath, rhythm, and quiet presence – guided by the soulful gaze of horses and the wisdom of nature.

No writing experience necessary.  This workshop blends equine facilitated learning with reflective writing prompts designed to awaken your creative voice.

Come for the horses, Stay for the writing.

MEET LINDA: Writing through Senses Facilitator

Linda Kramer Jenning believes we are all storytellers. Her goal is to share tools and practices that help us craft those stories. Before moving to Bainbridge Island, she taught at Georgetown University and wrote for Glamour, People and other magazines after starting her journalism career with The Associated Press. Today she is a contributing editor for Tideland Magazine and PostAlley.org. She holds a master's in literary nonfiction from John Hopkins and an undergraduate degree from Smith College.

MEET COLLEEN: Owner of Wellness With Horses.

Equine-facilitated learning invites participants to engage with horses in a calm, reflective setting that fosters awareness and authentic expression. In this workshop, horses gently support the creative writing process. Participants tune into their inner voice, quiet the mind, and connect through sensory presence.
